So I'm your host Rosie, and I am a cat obsessed introvert from New Zealand with ADHD who is married to a French dude. And just so happened to build a multi million dollar online knowledge based business in just a few years - casual, casual I know. And today, it still blows my mind that I get to pay myself more than five times my old corporate salary, to essentially fulfil my purpose of helping people to do what they love for work. And, in fact, I actually scaled to my very first million dollar revenue year by my third year in business, and scaling to seven figures in revenue in just one year is a feat that currently only 2% of female founders will achieve in business. So it's been absolutely wild, especially because I have zero marketing or entrepreneurial background at all. And now I get to live between New Zealand and France with my French husband, I get to travel or have days off without asking for anyone's permission. I designed my work to work when it suits me where it suits me. And I genuinely love what I get to do for work every single day.
But to be fair, this wasn't by accident. My journey to digital CEO, which you're going to learn a lot more about as we go has been full of very intentional testing, tweaking, learning, purpose finding, business design, and immense personal growth. And now I finally feel ready to share with you the roadmap, the CEO codes, the business strategy, the content creation and mindset upgrades, you need to supercharge your success. So my mission with this podcast is to help aspiring entrepreneurs to start and scale the purpose driven side hustles and online businesses that will give them options. I love giving people options in life, whether it's making an extra 50 grand per year on the side of your day job, or building out your own multimillion dollar business like me, that's for you to decide this is your empire. But essentially, I want you to be able to tap into the power of the online world to make incredible money in a way that feels good. Well, specifically, I'm an expert and knowledge or expertise based businesses, ones that are focused on selling services. So coaching, consulting online courses, essentially, their goal is to help people to learn something or to transform their lives in some way. It doesn't matter if you don't know what that is yet, it doesn't matter. If you don't think you have any knowledge or expertise, you absolutely do, we will figure that out together. But the desire to impact other people is there. On the other hand, I am not the person for you if you want someone to teach you how to go viral on social media, just so you can become an influencer, who sells vitamin gummies with a 10% discount code, okay. And I also won't be focused on selling physical products, things that require actual products with inventory and stock and a lot of business risk. I also won't be focused on drop shipping, we might talk about it from time to time, but it won't be my main deal. And I definitely won't be focused on running a brick and mortar business. If you already have a brick and mortar business. I'm also the expert that's going to teach you had a package that knowledge and expertise up and sell it online so that you can scale and catapult your earning potential.
So badass empires is really about building a community of like minded people around you becoming an educator or a mentor or a coach for these people and offering them a service that will genuinely help them. It's an online business model you can run from anywhere you have Wi Fi comes with an overflow of both purpose and profit and feels damn good to run.
